BEST PhD THESIS COMPETITION

In order to promote scientific research, IMMAT2022 has set up a prize for the best PhD thesis in Mechanical Engineering. This initiative of recognition allows to value the research activities and offers a scientific radiation of the young PhDs. This competition targets young doctors who have defended their doctoral theses during the last two academic years (2020-2021 and 2021-2022).

The young doctors interested are called to submit their applications from September 20 to October 15, 2022, online, via the link : https://forms.gle/gM14ezFeShEoubqE8

A number of theses will be pre-selected and presented on the sidelines of the International Conference on Innovative Materials, Manufacturing and Advanced Technologies (IMMAT'2022), which will be held in person in Sousse. The selected candidates will be invited to participate on October 29, 2022 to present their research work, with a coffee break.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR APPLICATION

The application must be justified by:

Published papers and communications in international conferences
A synthesis of research activities (02 pages)
The selected candidates will be asked to prepare a poster whose outline/template will be communicated to them by e-mail.

SCHEDULE

• Online applications from September 20 to October 15, 2022
• Declaration of the finalists
• Sending of the poster outline/template to the selected candidates
• Submission of the descriptive posters
• Invitation to IMMAT'2022 for October 29, 2022
• Attendance at IMMAT'2022 on October 29, 2022

PRIZE FOR THE BEST THESIS

A trophy will be awarded to the finalist during the closing session of IMMAT on October 29, 2022
A certificate of participation in the competition will be given to each participant
